Online fashion retailer, Missguided, reports it enjoyed an outstanding weekend of sales following promotions on Black Friday and across the Cyber Weekend.
The retailer, which recently launched its second collaboration with pop-star Nicole Scherzinger and a range of plus size clothing for young women, offered 20% discounts on its entire range over the weekend, along with flash sales and giveaway competitions.
With Cyber Monday now complete, Missguided has announced its achievements over these key days for retailers in the run up to Christmas:
- On Black Friday Missguided said it smashed the £1m target it put in place for the day and achieved a 200% uplift in sales year-on-year
- Over the Cyber Weekend, Missguided said it achieved a 180% uplift in sales year-on-year
Missguided claims to be one of the fastest growing women’s online retailers, attracting 8m monthly visitors to shop from its collection, which benefits from 250 new catwalk inspired items per week. Missguided said it expects to report 100% year-on-year growth when it announces its latest financial results in March 2015.
