From Saturday 8 August until Sunday 13 September, Julia Donaldson’s much-loved children’s book, The Gruffalo, will come to life at Bluewater, a leading European retail and leisure destination.
The fully immersive and interactive experience created by Unit 10 Eventive uses actors, puppets, lighting, sounds and smells to bring the popular story off the page and into a bespoke structure situated outside Bluewater’s Village. Guests are guided through a number of themed zones from the story’s deep dark wood where they get to meet some of the animals from the story, as well as joining in with some interactive storytelling and other soft learning activities. he highlight of their visit is when they come face-to-face with the Gruffalo.
