Pud purveyor Gü has used its pudding expertise to bring a taste of authentic French patisserie to the UK with the introduction of four flavours of handmade, patisserie-style tartlets.
With a combination of quality ingredients, each flavour is available in packs of two and the Rich Chocolate, Velvety Praline, Passion Fruit, and Lemon Meringue Tartlets will be sold nationwide, providing moments of pure indulgence.
Dark and decadent, the Rich Chocolate Tartlets have been made using a buttery shortcrust pastry, topped with a glossy Belgian chocolate ganache.
The Velvety Praline Tartlets are smooth, velvety, and incredibly moreish, the company claims. Comprised of layers of fabulous hazelnut filling and a hidden layer of crisp chocolate crunch, the tarts are complemented perfectly by buttery shortcrust pastry.
The Passion Fruit Tartlets are fresh and tangy, and ideal for those who prefer to indulge in something a little bit fruity. Filled with a passion fruit curd, the Passion Fruit Tartlet is the perfect way to tantalise your taste buds, according to Gü.
The Lemon Meringue Tartlets are zesty and intense, combining buttery shortcrust pastry with a lemon curd. A ‘Gü-ey’ Italian meringue tops off this tangy treat for a true moment of pudding pleasure, said Gü.
The four-strong range of Gü Tartlets comes in packs of two, and is available in Waitrose, Tesco, Ocado, Sainsbury’s and Asda from mid-September (£3.50 RRP). Visit facebook.com/GuPuds for more inspiration.
