GUESS to open 5,000sq ft flagship at Liverpool ONE


Grosvenor Europe announces that GUESS, the global lifestyle and fashion brand, is to open a new flagship on Liverpool ONE’s Paradise Street.  The 5,000sq ft store is due to open this spring.

The store will be the first in the North West, and one of only a handful in the UK, to stock the complete GUESS collection. GUESS at Liverpool ONE will sell the brand’s complete denim offer for men and women, as well as other products including watches, sunglasses and footwear, the GUESS kids and Marciano ranges.

The signing of GUESS follows the opening of other Paradise Street regional flagships including Jack Wolfskin, Lindt, Smiggle and Urban Decay. The five new international retailers total almost 11,000sq ft of fashion and lifestyle floor space, adding to Paradise Street’s critical mass of young urban brands.

The news follows a very successful 2016 for Liverpool ONE, with footfall reaching 29 million, 4% ahead of the UK, and sales growing by 8% compared to 2015. More than 20 brands opened in Liverpool ONE last year, including new regional flagships for Victoria’s Secret’s and Apple on South John Street, as well as Rolex, Lindt, Smiggle and Cosy Club on Paradise Street.

In addition, it was recently announced that JD Sports is to double the size of its store on Paradise Street to create a 40,000sq ft regional flagship, whilst Superdry is relocating to South John Street into a new 10,000sq ft store.
