The competition, which has a top prize of £10k cash plus a host of other business boosters supplied by partners Tide, O2 Business, SumUp and Builder.ai, launched in April and has seen entries from small businesses and entrepreneurs across the UK.

The competition celebrates the sole traders, entrepreneurs and SMEs across the country that have demonstrated resourcefulness, innovation and a commitment to their community, with prizes to help them hit the ground running as the country opens up again.

Rouch continued: “We have been so impressed with the calibre of entries that we have received to the competition so far. We asked business people to tell us how they coped with the challenges of the past few months, how they’ve been resourceful and agile and it’s humbling to see the work that people have put into their businesses to keep them going and get ready for the opportunities ahead. We can’t wait to receive the final entries this weekend and get the judging process underway.”

Laurence Krieger, Tide UK CEO, said: “Small businesses have faced huge challenges over the last year, and we at Tide have been inspired by the determination, grit and innovation shown by small business owners to adapt and keep their companies going. We are delighted to support this competition, to give a much-needed boost to these businesses, helping them to emerge from the pandemic stronger than ever.”
