H beauty, Harrods’ luxury beauty concept, has opened at centre:mk in Milton Keynes today.  Making its debut at the heart of centre:mk with a 29,000sq ft store, it is the brand’s second standalone store and its biggest boutique to date.

H beauty will be a new destination for local beauty lovers, offering an unrivalled range of brands, products and services to Milton Keynes. The store brings a number of new brands to centre:mk, such as Gucci and Dolce and Gabanna beauty, Kylie, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Hourglass.

Visitors to H beauty can enjoy immersive and innovative beauty treatments and services, from the Playtable, offering hair-styling and experiential product testing, to the Skincare Station and a Click & Collect boutique that allows customers to receive, try-on and return orders purchased from harrods.com. The H beauty space has been designed by the renowened Virgile + Partners, and centres around a 44-seater Champagne Bar that will be open from May 17th, in line with government guidance.

Annalise Fard, director of Beauty at Harrods, commented: “The latest H beauty opening in Milton Keynes marks another significant addition to the UK’s beauty retail landscape and I am absolutely delighted to be creating an exciting new destination for our beauty community. As well as opening the most beautiful retail destination, we are so excited to be meeting beauty lovers and experts across the local community and bringing them into the H beauty family.

“The new H beauty store in Milton Keynes will house an array of luxury brands including Dolce & Gabbana, La Mer and Roja Parfums, as well as fantastic beauty services. At Harrods, we take great pride in knowing our beauty community and using our authority in the beauty space to ensure that the portfolio of brands and products across each H beauty store are tailored to suit the local customer, and this is reflected at H beauty center:mk with the array of beauty collections and services.”

Kevin Duffy, centre director at centre:mk, added: “centre:mk proves to be a resilient destination that has continued to welcome key anchor brands throughout the pandemic.  We constantly outperform footfall benchmarks reflecting the strength and depth of offer at centre:mk, which attracts guests from across the region.

“Our strategy at centre:mk is focused on exceeding customer expectations.  As the most exciting concept to emerge in a fast-moving market, H beauty is an exemplar of our strategy in action.  H beauty’s approach, line-up of brands and commitment to delivering a unique experience for visitors will be a significant addition to our retail offer moving forward.”

Centre:mk remains listed as a top 10 UK retail destination. The announcement also follows the news that Lush and Dune London opened their latest stores at centre:mk last year.
