Sloane Stanley Estate has announced that Sakurami, the Russian hair and beauty brand, has selected the King’s Road, Chelsea, to launch its first UK salon. Located at 327 King’s Road, the 770sq ft space, which is spread over two floors, opened last month.
Established in Russia in 2001, Sakurami is now a global business operating in 12 countries. The new space on the King’s Road offers a unique client service concept and a wide range of services while working under the L’Oreal global umbrella brand. The salon includes six hairdressing stations and two nail-service stations as well as facial and body cosmetology stations. In addition, the salon also has a large open space allocated to product sales.
Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley, said: “Sakurami is a new and exciting business that we are delighted to welcome to the King’s Road. Brands like this keep the retail offer fresh and highlights the King’s Road appeal as a great shopping and lifestyle destination.”
Sakurami is the latest in a series of international brands to launch on the King’s Road, with the news following the announcement that Royal Selangor, the luxury pewter specialist, is also making its UK debut in the iconic destination. Both follow Sheridan, Australia’s leading home and lifestyle brand, which also launched in London on the King’s Road.
Sloane Stanley is one of the oldest landowning estates in London, and has been part of Chelsea for over 250 years. The Estate owns and manages hundreds of residential and commercial properties on the King’s Road and Fulham Road.
