Hancocks launches new postage friendly packaging


New postage friendly packaging has been revealed by the UK’s leading confectionery wholesaler Hancocks following demand from customers.

They’ve introduced post friendly pick and mix boxes for retailers who have taken their business online during the pandemic and online sweet shops.

Demand has increased since the first lockdown last March with retailers looking for packaging options for gifting, treats and sharing.

The new packaging offers multiple choices, in a variety of sizes to appeal to their growing customer bases.

New to the range includes cardboard pizza boxes, small and large grip seal pouches, an eight-section platter with a lid and small windowed sweet boxes.

A range of Christmas and seasonal children’s boxes will launch in early June. These include an eye-catching Santa gift box, a Halloween box styled as a spooky pumpkin and fun sweet and snowflake designs.

Two boxes for Easter 2022 are also being launched.

The plastic platter and all cardboard and paper within the products are recyclable.

 Chris Smith, marketing communications manager at Hancocks, said: “We’ve responded to a growing demand from our customers for packaging options and since we launched, they’ve been very popular with our pick and mix and online sweetshop customers.

“We are continuously looking at new packaging solutions for our customers and have new seasonal themed design carry boxes launching in the coming months.

“These exciting launches will include options for Halloween and Christmas – both big occasions for sweet retailers.”
