Holland & Barrett, one of Europe’s largest health and wellness retailers, has partnered with Applied Principles to roll out resource and time saving technology in all its UK and Ireland stores.
The Applied Principles software will provide a simple and smart solution to capture and manage all health & safety and compliance checks, with an estimated 80,000 inspections performed each week across 800 Holland & Barrett retail stores and 137,600 pieces of paper saved per annum.
Holland & Barrett has long been a leader in sustainability having previously been the first UK retailer to ban plastic bags in stores in 2012, prohibiting the use of microplastics in products, stopping sales of wet wipes and most recently, putting an end to the sale of single-use beauty sheet masks.
