Iceland Manufacturing has announced a huge expansion of its business as it looks to recruitment almost 100 new colleagues across its three shifts. The recruitment drive comes as production continues to increase with the development and growth of Iceland’s own-label range as well as the expansion of the exclusive Slimming World range available in Iceland stores, online and at The Food Warehouse.

The manufacturing site in Manchester, which is responsible for the production of many of Iceland’s own-label ranges as well as the exclusive Slimming World range, has seen a slew of investment recently across not only recruitment, but also site infrastructure.

A refurbished canteen opened in September 2021, after the site undertook modernisation work to make the area as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Iceland Manufacturing is keen not only to recruit new colleagues to the team, with an additional 30 new people being sought across three shifts (morning, afternoon and nights), but to support the growth of existing talent by looking to promote from within.

New jobs will be advertised both on the Iceland jobs page and the Iceland Manufacturing LinkedIn page.

Mark Ditch, Managing Director at Iceland Manufacturing Ltd, said: “We are excited to see our site grow as the Iceland ranges continue to expand. This is an exciting time for us to both recruit new colleagues but also to develop the existing talent we already have and promote from within the business.

“We’ve seen the incredible impact the expansion of Iceland’s own-label ranges has had on our business and this has allowed us not only to grow as a team but also invest in our infrastructure to offer even better staff facilities.”
