Cass Art, a leading independent art supplies retailer, has opened its first store in the north west in Liverpool ONE.  Located on School Lane, the 4,797sq ft store opened on 21 March 2015 and is adjacent to the celebrated Liverpool art gallery, The Bluecoat.

The new Liverpool ONE store stocks Cass Art’s full range of art supplies. In addition, it has space available both for local artists to exhibit and for children and families to participate in creative workshops. Cass Art also supports local and national galleries, and has partnered with the Tate Liverpool to bring exclusive ticket offers to its customers.

Commenting on the opening of Cass Art on School Lane, Miles Dunnett, director of portfolio management at Grosvenor, said: “Cass Art is an exciting addition to Liverpool ONE, connecting perfectly with the city’s vibrant artistic heritage. Their opening also reflects our strategy of promoting key independent brands that add real theatre and engagement to Liverpool ONE.”

Mark Cass, founder of Cass Art, said: “We are thrilled to have opened in Liverpool. It’s a city with a remarkable cultural history, some fantastic artist-led spaces and of course the leading Art Festival, the Liverpool Biennial. Our position in Liverpool ONE is ideal, reflecting our character and allowing us to create a truly special store.”

Cass Art is the latest brand to join Liverpool ONE’s line-up, with Michael Kors and Cote both opening in the last six months, along with Zara’s new regional flagship.
