Lend Lease has today annouced that Joules, Britain’s lifestyle clothing brand, Monsoon and Thomas Cook are to open at Touchwood, a leading retail destination in the West Midlands. Together with Smiggle and Five Guys, both of whom have opened at Touchwood in the last few months, Lend Lease has added over 13,000sq ft of new brands to the centre this year.
Joules has taken a 3,693sq ft store opposite Fraser Hart at the entrance to Mill Lane Arcade. The store will stock Joules’ complete range of fashion and accessories for men, women and children, together with homewares. Monsoon’s new 4,045sq ft store is situated on Touchwood’s Crescent Arcade adjacent to Apple, Hollister and Topshop.
Thomas Cook is opening a 1,503sq ft concept store on the high street. This next-generation concept store showcases what the travel agent of tomorrow looks like today, and reflects Thomas Cook’s aspiration to give provide its customers with a ‘Hi-Tech, Hi-Touch’ approach and complete, end-to-end experience that includes use of social media technology so that customers can share personalised, holiday-related content. All three brands open next spring.
The latest additions join Smiggle, with its 822sq ft store on Mill Lane Arcade, and Five Guys, whose 3,100sq ft restaurant is in the heart of Touchwood’s leisure arcade, close to the cinema and wider dining offer.

The announcement follows a successful year-to-date for Touchwood, with October sales up by 3.4% compared to the same period last year.
