Fashion retailer Joules has signed a deal to use the comparison shopping solution from global e-commerce platform provider ChannelAdvisor in order to improve its online brand presence and increase traffic to its website.
Joules designs a range of outdoor clothing for women, men and children; including wellies, quilted jackets and gilets.
It has over 60 stores in the UK, products stocked by over 600 retailers across the UK, USA and Europe and an established online website.
“We were keen to establish a presence on comparison shopping engines but realised this was not something we could manage in-house,” said Chris Bevan, online marketing manager for Joules.
“With ChannelAdvisor’s comparison shopping solution we will be able to manage our inventory across multiple comparison shopping engines, in turn increasing our brand awareness and traffic to our website.”
According to ChannelAdvisor, its comparison shopping solution simplifies selling across more than 130 individual comparison shopping engines.
By optimising Joules’ inventory feed to fit the unique specifications of each comparison shopping engine, ChannelAdvisor is able to ensure products are visible and drive clicks.
In-depth reporting features allow Joules to track buyer behaviour, to better understand the clicks that contribute to conversions. Having this detail means Joules can make performance-driven decisions down to the product level.
