JW Filshill unveils KeyStore business website to drive growth of fascia

Award-winning wholesaler JW Filshill has unveiled a new business website (https://business.keystore.co.uk/) for its KeyStore symbol group, designed to give prospective retailers a central hub to access information about the fascia and how to join the KeyStore family.

The new website provides information on the three brands available – KeyStore, KeyStore More and KeyStore Express – and the benefits of choosing the fascia. It also includes videos of current KeyStore retailers discussing why they have chosen the group along with information on the support available from the group’s business development managers and sales teams.

Created by Glasgow-based design agency Totalize Media, it also details the group’s marketing, technology and community support initiatives as well as FAQs.

Craig Brown, Filshill’s retail sales director, said: “Our new KeyStore website provides all the information prospective retailers need to know about the fascia and how we operate in one place and is presented in a simple format that is easy to navigate.

“As we ease further out of lockdown our business development managers will be in a position to visit retailers who are keen to trade with a symbol group that offers high-profile branding, attractive pricing, a comprehensive product range, state-of-the-art technology solutions and business support that is unrivalled in the convenience marketplace.

“We’ve had a pipeline of enquiries from retailers during lockdown and we are keen to expand our existing estate by recruiting ambitious retailers who want to join the KeyStore family to work with us to grow their business.”

KeyStore outlets across Scotland and the north of England have been working with Glasgow-based Filshill to ensure the ongoing safety of customers and staff during the coronavirus crisis. The wholesaler has provided Perspex sneeze screens at tills and social distancing floor vinyls for KeyStore outlets to provide safety reassurance for staff – and peace of mind for the increasing number shoppers who are choosing to shop locally.

KeyStore and JW Filshill were recently ranked No. 1 by suppliers in the independent UK-wide industry survey conducted by the respected Advantage Group, which asks suppliers to rate a defined set of wholesalers and symbol groups across several categories ranging from category and business development to supply chain management and execution of promotional and marketing plans.

KeyStore led the fascia groups for the second consecutive year while Filshill come out on top in the wholesale channel programme for the eighth year in succession.

JW Filshill, one of Scotland’s oldest independent food and drink wholesalers with a turnover of £155 million, supplies 187 KeyStore convenience stores across Scotland and the north of England. Plans are under way to relocate to a brand new, purpose-built distribution centre near Glasgow Airport.
