The Dream Doors kitchen makeover retail franchise continues to go from strength-to-strength, with the launch of another three showrooms in April 2015.
The showroom openings in Dudley, Derby and Swansea bring the total of showrooms in the UK to 55, with the total expected to exceed 60 by the end of 2015. Dream Doors offers kitchen makeovers for less than half of the cost of a full re-fit, replacing doors, worktops and drawer fronts to transform a kitchen within just 48 hours.
Dream Doors’ turnover in in Q1 2015 is up 24% compared to the same period in 2014 Q1, meaning the retailer is on target to turnover more than £25M by the end of the year. Dream Doors MD Troy Tappenden, believes the company’s success since its launch in 1999 is based on its personal and bespoke approach to customer service:
“Almost every single one of our franchisees is from the area their showroom is in and that’s really important. Updating a kitchen is a big decision and people are looking for a local and personal approach to guide them through the process. We are able to offer a broad range of kitchens and appliances to suit all tastes and can transform a kitchen in just two days, saving money and hassle compared to a full re-fit. We’ve seen incredible growth over the past 18 months and are delighted that is continuing into 2015 and beyond.”
Dream Doors has also scooped a number of industry awards in in Q1 2015, becoming an eight-time award winner in the Franchise Marketing Awards (FMAs), the national awards ceremony that recognises the franchise industry’s most innovative and effective marketing campaigns. Dream Doors has been a finalist at the FMAs a record 25 times and won in this year’s awards for the ‘Best Franchisee Marketing Support’ category.
The company is also a finalist in the 2015 bfa (British Franchise Association) HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards that recognise the UK’s most exceptional franchisors. Dream Doors is nominated in the ‘Franchise Recruitment’ category and the finalists will present to a judging panel of industry experts in London on 20 & 21 May, with winners announced at a black-tie dinner on 25 June at the ICC, Birmingham.
“To be recognised for both our franchise recruitment and the marketing support we provide to our franchisees is testament to the focus and effort we place in finding the right people and giving them the support and tools they need to be a success,” said Tappenden. “Customers love the idea of giving their kitchen a makeover, which means there is great potential for any franchisee that wants to put the work in. We aim to give them all the help they need, as their success means Dream Doors is successful overall.”
