Leading national clothing brand New Look is set to launch its largest standalone menswear store at intu Metrocentre this autumn as it rolls out its new concept nationally.
The high street fashion chain has already worked with shopping centre owner intu to open New Look Men stores at intu Trafford Centre, intu Merry Hill and intu Potteries since embarking on a national expansion programme last year.
intu Metrocentre will now be the fourth intu centre to welcome the brand with a 3,800sq ft sales space, the largest New Look Men in the country and the first in the north east to date.
Kate Grant, regional director of intu, said: “Our national presence means we’re well placed to help New Look flourish across the UK with the launch of their standalone menswear stores. Half of New Look Men stores will now be in our centres with the largest at intu Metrocentre, demonstrating the competitive advantage our distinctive approach to asset management brings to our retailers”.
“The North East is becoming an increasingly important location for retailers thanks to its growing population of affluent shoppers. The launch of the north east’s first New Look Men will help ensure that we continue to attract these customers and help all our retailers to flourish.”
