No1 Botanicals, the world’s first range of botanical extract drinks, has appointed a new CEO to lead its global expansion plans.
The team behind the botanical extract range containing no preservatives, sugar or sweeteners, has beefed up its executive team with the appointment of Sally Taylor.
With more than 30 years in FMCG, Taylor has experience of blue-chip brands such as Mars, as well as senior commercial roles in the drinks industry at Diageo, Britvic and PepsiCo. Throughout her career, Taylor has overseen expansion in key markets working internationally in the USA and Europe, as well as delivering growth in Africa and India.
She joined the No1 Botanicals team in early 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer and takes on the role of CEO after steering the business through the significant challenges of the Covid-19 outbreak. No1 Botanicals reacted quickly and decisively to the significant changes in the market, focusing on the e-commerce sales platforms that would enable it to grow its customer base.
As a result, online sales have increased by 100% compared to 2019, expanding into new countries including Germany, Italy, France and Spain. No1 Botanicals, which boasts A-lister Henry Cavill as a partner in the business, is also now available in 27 countries worldwide on Shopify.
No1 Botanicals founder, David Spencer-Percival feels now is the right time to bring in a new executive leadership from within the drinks industry; “Sally has a huge amount of experience and the pedigree we need to meet our ambitious growth targets. Sally has both the knowledge and the energy to take No1 Botanicals to the next level.”
