Europe’s leading manufacturer of premium frozen cakes and desserts for the foodservice industry, erlenbacher, is showcasing its latest products at IFE at London Excel, 13-16 March 2011.
Launched to the trade in the UK in October 2010, erlenbacher says it draws on over 35 years of baking experience to produce quality desserts using fresh ingredients. Each product is crafted under the philosophy of combining traditional craftsmanship with the latest trends and technologies, it adds.
The latest products for the UK foodservice market will be displayed at IFE on stand S4445.
The new offering has an emphasis on fresh fruit, with additions such as Summer Dream Papaya-Sweet Lime Cup – a seasonal combination of lime, yoghurt and fresh papaya, available for delivery from March but can be pre-ordered. New cup flavours will be introduced throughout the year to reflect the seasons.
Other new products include a Tiramisu Cup – bringing the popular mascarpone cream and amaretto liqueur recipe to a new format; and the Tartlets range – single portion desserts, which follow the trend for smaller versions of sweet desserts. This range comprises Strawberry Cream Cheese Tartlet and Raspberry & White Chocolate Tartlet and Mousse au Chocolate Tartlet.
These new products will be shown at IFE alongside best-selling classics including Strawberry Cheesecake, Cherry & Crisp Chocolate Slices and Premium Apple Pie; as well as more unusual flavours such as Peach Melba, Raspberry & Crème and Blueberry Cream.
Erlenbacher’s cakes are available round or square, pre-cut into single portions for flexibility and to avoid unnecessary waste, or uncut, as well as in cup and tartlet formats. Erlenbacher does not use additional preservatives in any of its products and uses natural ingredients without any hydrogenated fats and oils, artificial colourings or flavourings.
According to the company, this guarantees a home-made taste.
