LEON restaurants offering 50% discounts to NHS staff and food donations to fresh food charities

 Naturally Fast Food brand LEON is supporting NHS staff who are working tirelessly during the current crisis, by offering a 50% discount and supporting people who work in hospitals near to LEON restaurants with free food deliveries.

Whilst the restaurant brand has offered 15% discount to NHS staff for a long time, it will be increasing this discount in recognition of those who are working around the clock and deserve to be rewarded during Covid-19 outbreak.

In addition, LEON teams will also be hand delivering food to NHS staff based in community areas close to restaurants in and around London.

LEON is also introducing additional support for those in most vulnerable situation through local charity partnerships, where surplus fresh drinks and food are being delivered. These partnerships will also help reduce food wastage.

John Vincent, CEO of LEON Restaurants said, “People working in the NHS are already under immense strain and that is clearly going to continue. They deserve all the support we can give them. We are also announcing plans on Friday for how we will be supporting the elderly, who are having to self-isolate as well as continuing to serve our customers as best we can.”

Currently, LEON restaurants remain open and offer those working from home or who do not want to venture out the office the opportunity to order on both Deliveroo and UberEats.

All staff are following all current Government protocol to protect both team members and customers.
