Lucozade Energy relaunches 250ml slimline can as part of wider £3m ‘Find Your Flow’ campaign


Lucozade Energy, the UK’s number one energy brand, has relaunched its 250ml slimline can range with a sleek new look which will be available in delicious Orange, Original and Pink Lemonade flavours.

The newly designed cans, which offer busy shoppers a quick, refreshing break throughout the day, are being supported by impactful instore activation, which will includes a suite of point of sale materials to catch the attention of consumers in-store. Following the launch of the new Lucozade Zero range in May, the low calorie orange variant will also be available in the 250ml can format later in the year.

Through the relaunch of the can format, Lucozade Energy is giving its two most popular flavours, Original and Orange, a modernising refresh without compromising on the taste that consumers love. The cans are also available in Pink Lemonade flavour, the brand’s most successful new product to date, which appeals strongly to a female audience.

The new slimline cans are supported by the hard hitting £3m wider ‘Find Your Flow’ media campaign which involves TV, radio and outdoor advertising. Lucozade Energy’s brand campaign includes a call to action specific to the can relaunch, encouraging consumers to ‘crack open, crack on and Find Your Flow’.

The relaunch comes amid growing consumer demand for ‘drink now’ canned soft drinks, which contribute to more than 20% of soft drink sales in the UK. The slimline cans are available to retailers as well as food service outlets, offering consumers a new way to enjoy Lucozade Energy and complementing the existing PET bottle range.

The eye catching design makes the cans a must-stock, and the perfect product to range alongside other canned soft drinks. The new look slimline cans are available within wholesale, grocery and impulse channels at the recommended retail price of just 59p (PMP) and 69p (non-PMP).
