Magners GB has appointed Leeds-based agency, Gratterpalm, to lead its Magners 2014 shopper marketing strategy.
Gratterpalm plans to bring to life Magners’ ‘Now is A Good Time’ campaign through grocery and the convenience channels.
Ed Shoebridge, Magners’ head of customer marketing, said: “Gratterpalm’s approach to shopper behaviour is highly innovative and this is paired with an extensive knowledge of retail channels. They work with retailers across many sectors every day and this experience was evident in their work.”
Chris McCash, head of shopper marketing at Gratterpalm, said: “We enjoyed studying insights on shoppers (often irrational) behaviour in this category. This has led to some clear objectives for 2014 that will benefit retailers as well as the Magners brand.”
Gratterpalm’s first shopper campaigns will launch in early 2014 and run throughout the year with the common goal of driving traffic to the category.
