McDonald’s continues to drive growth in digital ordering and delivery through the My McDonald’s app. From this month, customers in the UK can now choose Delivery, alongside Click & Serve, Takeaway, Table Service or Drive Thru all via the My McDonald’s app. This is a key component of My McDonald’s, a global suite of complementary digital offerings that enables convenient, fast and personalised experiences for customers.
As customers increasingly choose off-premise dining, McDonald’s is adapting the customer experience to meet their needs. Initially delivered through a pilot with Uber, this marks the first time McDonald’s has offered UK customers a fully in-app, seamless delivery ordering option, as part of a longstanding ambition to offer ease, speed and convenience to customers. Those placing a delivery order through the My McDonald’s app will have their orders facilitated through Uber and the network of couriers who use the app.
Digital and delivery are key components of McDonald’s global growth strategy, Accelerating the Arches. This new offering within the My McDonald’s app supports the continued growth of McDonald’s delivery and digital channels by providing increased convenience, flexible payment options and speed for millions of app users.
