Metcalfe’s skinny popcorn reveals new packaging design


Metcalfe’s skinny popcorn is excited to announce the launch of its new packaging design. The updated look is now being rolled out into stores nationwide.

The new creative combines bold colour schemes, with simplified layouts and messaging, which will appeal to a broad consumer base; while at the same time providing additional stand out on shelf.

The packs help bring the brand’s colourful and playful personality to life. Marketing director Andrew Slamin said: “We feel the new designs aptly bring out Metcalfe’s skinny popcorn’s light heated humour, which will resonate with the whole family and help drive continued growth for the brand.”

The designs were created by the award-winning brand design agency Springetts, under the director of an in-house marketing team at Kettle Foods.

The Metcalfe’s skinny brand is now purchased by a record number of households and year-on-year sales continue to grow at an impressive rate of 26.1%; over double the performance of the total popcorn market, which grew by 10.8%.
