Microsoft has hired retail industry veteran Shelley Bransten as the new corporate vice president of retail & CPG.
Shelley’s passion is the intersection of retail, consumer goods, and technology to drive great customer experience. She comes to Microsoft from Salesforce where she was the SVP of retail & consumer goods industry solutions, responsible for developing and launching business solutions that addressed some of the biggest challenges facing the retail industry. Shelley brings more than two decades of retail industry experience; prior to Salesforce, Shelley built CRM and digital marketing for Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy, and worked at Williams-Sonoma and Visa.
At Microsoft, Shelley will lead Microsoft’s global retail vision and strategy with the goal to strengthen the company’s market position in the retail sector globally. She will report to Anand Eswaran, CVP of the Enterprise Group.
