MOJU, the UK’s leading functional food and drinks brand announces nationwide supermarket and store expansion with confirmed launches in Co-op, ASDA and Leon.
Having recently secured the prestigious award of Soft Drinks Brand of the Year at the Grocer Gold Awards 2021, MOJU is now expanding the business and making their highly coveted drinks more available than ever before. The new distribution will see MOJU’s range of nutrition boosting shots available in over 600 additional stores nationwide from November 2021.
The popular MOJU 60ml Ginger Shots will soon be available in 400+ Co-op stores, including London Baker St Station and Manchester Piccadilly. ASDA will also introduce MOJU’s 60ml Ginger Shot, 60ml Turmeric Shot, and 60ml Prebiotic Shot into 170+ stores across the country. To accompany the supermarket launches, MOJU is also expanding into the fast and convenient food space having launched in all UK Leon restaurants in September this year.
MOJU has been the pioneer in the functional shot category and following rapid growth over the past three years and gaining more than 7,000 distribution points across the UK, it now boasts listings in the country’s major grocery retailers. Alongside this growth in distribution, Q4 is set to be MOJU’s most prolific sales period to date with mass sampling in London driving trial with over 250,000 commuters.
Since its launch in 2015, the brand claimed a first with the launch of its Dosing Bottles, containing the equivalent of eight of its popular 60ml shots and designed to support daily ‘at-home consumption rituals’. The brand’s Ginger Dosing Bottle currently ranks as the highest loyalty product in the entire Juices & Smoothies category, highlighting its role as a habitual and functional product.
For those looking to support their immune health, in early 2020 MOJU also launched its vitamin D shot. Made with Vitamin D3 from sustainably grown seaweed, the shot was created to make the vital, yet elusive vitamin widely available and more accessible. Alongside MOJU’s new gut-health supporting Prebiotic Shots launched earlier this year, the two new innovations have been nominated for the Grocer New Product Awards in 2021. Continuing this success, MOJU secured £2.5million in funding from Danone Manifesto Ventures and high profile angel investors.
