Morphy Richards launches first hybrid CGI TV ad campaign with Sky AdSmart

Morphy Richards is launching its first hybrid CGI TV advertising campaign for its ATOMiST Vapour Iron for households in hard water areas.

The leading electrical appliance brand will use Sky AdSmart, the geo-targeted TV ad platform, to deliver the campaign to audiences in Norwich, Tonbridge, Guildford, Chelmsford and Milton Keynes, as well as Greater London.

The 30-second commercial, which was produced by creative agency CIC, showcases the incredible design and technology behind the ATOMiST Vapour Iron – part of Morphy Richards’ premium Redefine range – through cutting-edge CGI animation and live action. It will launch on 24 March 24 and run until 17 April.

Speaking on the campaign Rod Burrows, marketing and consumer engagement director at Morphy Richards, said: “CIC has created a polished, informative and engaging commercial that showcases the technology behind the Redefine ATOMiST Vapour Iron and communicates its unique selling point.

“Sky AdSmart enables us to position products at their heart of target communities. We’re confident the campaign will resonate with audiences.”

Creative director at CIC, Dave Walker, said: “A hybrid campaign using the latest CGI technology combined with live action presented the perfect opportunity to do this stylish and premium product justice, and we’re pleased with the finished result.”

The ATOMiST Vapour Iron is available from Amazon, Currys & PC World, Debenhams, QVC, Fenwick and Lakeland and retails for £249.99.
