The NBA today announced a partnership with Yoplait that sees its celebrated drinkable yoghurt brand YOP named as a Promotional Partner and the Official Yoghurt of The NBA Paris Game 2020 presented by beIN SPORTS. France’s first regular-season NBA game, which will be played in front of a sold-out crowd, will feature the Charlotte Hornets and the Milwaukee Bucks at AccorHotels Arena on Friday, 24 January.
To build on the partnership, YOP will look to champion their mission of celebrating ‘positive change’ with their core teen audience along with the NBA by identifying fans on social media channels and via its own group of influencers to be a part of a dedicated ‘YOPStars’ team.
The ‘YOPStars’ win the chance to participate in an exclusive clinic teaching fundamental basketball and team building skills, led by NBA staff at NBA House, the NBA’s official interactive, free fan experience and hospitality venue around The NBA Paris Game 2020. They then go on to participate in a ‘YOPStars’ 3X3 game open to the public visiting NBA House, as part of a digital content series to be shared across both YOP’s and the NBA’s social channels.
Fans attending the game will also be able to take part in a unique basketball experience at YOP’s concourse activation featuring a ‘free throw’ mini-court where they will be encouraged to use their creativity and skills to score points against the clock for a chance to win their place at the ‘YOPStars’ basketball clinic at NBA House. In addition, YOP will be offering free samples at the arena on game day as well as at NBA House.
