Hampshire-based New Forest Ice Cream has launched its retail range of take home tubs nationally, following successful regional listings in national supermarkets and independent retail outlets.
The family-owned business offers a range of 1-litre and 120ml retail tubs in 10 flavours (eight in 120ml), including Toffee Crunch, Irish Cream, and Oriental Ginger; in addition to the more traditional varieties of Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate.
Christina Veal, director at New Forest Ice Cream, said: “All of our take-home range is made with premium quality real dairy ice cream and is packaged in attractive take home tubs, which offer consumers superb value for money whilst maintaining healthy margins for the retailer.
“Our 1-litre tubs, for example, retail at just £3.40, about the same as some half-litre equivalents. With so many consumers visiting the New Forest area during the year, there has been a real demand for the product once they return home.”
The ice cream in the New Forest Take Home tubs is produced from traditional recipes without the need for eggs and is made from the milk of Jersey cows and rich double cream.
Tubs can be purchased in cases of six x 1-litre or 24 x 120ml tubs.
