A new organic baby food brand has launched, with a clear focus on promoting togetherness through food and diversity through flavour.
Oliver’s Cupboard is a brand new, premium baby food brand that boasts global tastes and international flavours with a focus on creating inclusivity through food and introducing babies to the world of flavours that exist in the UK.
Made using all natural ingredients and plenty of vegetables, Oliver’s Cupboard offers a range of recipes containing halal and organic ingredients with both vegan and non-vegan options that are inspired by flavours and dishes from all over the world.
“The baby food market in the UK is static and there is a serious lack of ‘inclusive food’ that represents the diversity of parents we have in the UK. We’ve seen a gap in the market for a premium brand that can bring something new to a growing population who are so far feeling excluded,” explains founder, Sadia Ahmed. “At Oliver’s Cupboard we intend to use a diverse range of interesting ingredients to not only provide a nutritious meal, but to encourage babies and children to enjoy the taste of real foods from around the world.”
“Our aim is to build a premium baby and children’s food brand which has diversity at its heart, and inclusivity in mind. We want to deliver high quality organic and halal recipes that match lifestyle and cultural needs, whilst being tasty, nutritious and convenient products that don’t cost the earth,” adds Ahmed.
Oliver’s Cupboard is launching with six recipes, which are suitable for children from seven months onwards. Choose from:
Sambar: Sri Lankan-inspired recipe made with organic vegetables, rice and intriguing flavours lovingly blended with gentle masala spices including ginger and garlic.
Korma: Indian-inspired curry, full of vegetables, rice, chicken and a delicate spice blend including fenugreek and turmeric.
Bahia: Brazilian-inspired fish stew full of vegetables, rice, salmon and delicately spiced with coriander and paprika.
Koshari: Egyptian-inspired dish made with a medley of tasty organic vegetables, rice, chickpeas and cumin.
Laksa: Lightly spiced Malaysian-inspired recipe with vegetables, noodles and chicken with the subtle flavours of lemongrass, coriander and mint.
Tom Yum: Thai-inspired fish recipe packed with rice, red peppers, green beans, salmon, coconut, ginger and lemongrass.
Oliver’s Cupboard will be available nationwide from October to all retailers across the UK.
