New PeaPops launch in the UK and target healthy snacking

UF International is launching PeaPops in the UK and targeting the healthy snacking market.

According the company, PeaPops were born out of a love of snacking and a desire to produce a healthy snack with no compromise on taste. As Pea Pops are made from chickpeas, they are nutritionally more dense than many other snack products. PeaPops have 20% plant-based protein, are high in fibre, gluten free, vegetarian and, because they are popped using heat compression technology, have 60% less fat than regular fried chips.

With 39% of snackers looking for healthier options, Pea Pops meet the growing demand for more nutritious, great tasting snacks.

Pea Pops are available in three flavours: Smoky BBQ, Chilli & Lime and Cheddar & Onion and come in two pack size: single serve 23g and 80g sharing bag. They are competitively priced with a RSP of 86p for single serve and £1.99 for sharing bag. UF International will also be selling via its own website www.peapops.co.uk and Amazon. And it is supporting the brand with a social media campaign and planning brand activation events for the future.
