New Stoats+ Immunity Bars launch into Sainsbury’s

Stoats, one of the largest independent manufacturers of cereal bars in the UK, has launched a new range into Sainsbury’s stores nationwide. Its new Stoats+ Immunity Bars, which are gluten-free and plant-based, are available in two flavours: Berry Boost and Chewy Roasted Nut.

Berry Boost: Made with gluten-free wholegrain Scottish oats, dried cranberries and raspberries, sunflower and linseeds for a super tasty snack that satisfies the hungers pangs

Chewy Roasted Nut: Gluten-free wholegrain Scottish oats combine with almond butter, roasted hazelnuts, chia, sunflower and pumpkin seeds for a nutty and nutritious treat with a chewy crunch

Packed with immunity boosting ingredients, each bar contains 100% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vitamins A, B6, B12, C & D, as well as folic acid, iron, zinc and copper – a combination that helps contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Each bar also contains 6 grams of protein, making them the perfect snack to grab on the go, in lunch boxes, or before or after exercise. They are available in multipacks of four 40g bars, RRP £2.50.

In addition, the bars – which are made by hand in small batches using quality ingredients selected by Stoats’ expert bakers – contain no added sugar or palm oil. They are packaged in a compostable wrapper made from renewable wood pulp, inside an FSC accredited outer carton.

The launch of the bars coincides with research demonstrating that over a third (39%) of UK adults now regularly include immune-boosting foods in their diet as a result of the coronavirus outbreak [Mintel 2021].
