The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has launched its new Davis Cup web site, to coincide with the 2010 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas final, which is being held between Serbia and France this weekend in Belgrade.
The site was developed by Shoreditch-based design and web marketing agency, New Brand Vision. According to the company, it places a high emphasis on fan customisation and usability, delivering live scores, player interviews, videos, podcasts and live online commentary. It is also optimised for social media and community sharing with further features planned for introduction in the New Year.
The Davis Cup site represents the ITF’s second collaboration with the New Brand Vision Group. Earlier this year the companies teamed to launch the rebranded Fed Cup web site.

In our planning and design, New Brand Vision focused on driving the ITF’s key user groups through the content of the site quickly and easily, bringing the Davis Cup brand to life and updating online identity, and creating visual devices that can be used across the site to drive user journeys.”
ITF president, Francesco Ricci Bitti, said: “The relaunch of the Davis Cup web site will help to engage a new audience with the competition as well as providing existing fans with a more comprehensive online experience. The final is poised to be one of the closest for years and it provides the perfect platform to showcase the new design.”
