No1 Rosemary Water launches in Waitrose

The world’s first rosemary extract drink, No1 Rosemary Water will be available in selected Waitrose stores across London and the UK from May 2018. This is the first high-street supermarket listing for the drinks brand, which is already stocked in Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Selfridges, Ocado and Whole Foods, Planet Organic and Sourced Market along with LEON Restaurants.

No1 Rosemary Water, which has become popular with the health and style conscious alike, is the only commercially available drink containing pure rosemary extract, made with fresh rosemary from Campania, Italy and absolutely no sugar or preservatives. Rosemary has long been used for therapeutic and medicinal purposes, including treating anxiety-related conditions and to increase alertness. Recent studies show it could also be key to increased brain-power and memory function. It is available in still, sparking and concentrated, daily shots for those who want a refreshing, healthy way to rehydrate and reboot their brain.

No1 Rosemary Water is inspired by the remote Italian hamlet of Acciaroli with the highest density of centenarians anywhere in the world – where more than one in ten residents live to over 100 years old, and without many of the problems that plague aging populations elsewhere around the globe. Their secret? It’s not because the villagers are especially health-conscious. Connoisseurs of food, drink, and tobacco, their zest for life’s pleasures is as famous as their longevity. Instead, scientists identified rosemary as the secret ingredient added to their otherwise classically mediterranean diet. The residents chew it raw, add it to every meal and consume vast quantities.

No1 Rosemary Water’s founder, David Spencer-Percival heard their story and set out on his mission to capture some of this goodness and bottle it. Working with botanical scientists in an extensive and challenging process, David has ensured all the correct compounds are present after extraction to get all the goodness of this wonderful herb into a bottle. He then ensures that purity is preserved, by adding nothing else and keeping the pH of the drink neutral.

David Spencer-Percival, founder and CEO of No1 Rosemary Water is thrilled to have teamed up with Waitrose; “It has been an incredible year for No1 Rosemary Water and we’re so excited to team up with Waitrose to help more and more people hydrate on its fabulous taste. We’re on a mission to let the world in on the secret of rosemary and a healthy, balanced lifestyle.”
