Oatly is launching two new, creamy, oat-based ice creams in the UK.

Joining the current indulgent range (Chocolate Fudge, Hazelnut Swirl and Salted Caramel) are Strawberry and our Vanilla Ice Cream flavours. And yes, of course, they’re made from oats.

The new Oatly Strawberry flavour will be made available exclusively in Tesco from 16 March with an RRP of £4.50. The Vanilla ice cream will arrive in the UK in the near future.

The ice cream cartons are made of PEFC certified paperboard from sustainable forests, which is totally recyclable; while the ice cream is free from all synthetic flavours.

Ishen Paran, general manager at Oatly UK, commented: “These two new additions to our expanding range of ice cream will be sure to excite Oatly fans up and down the UK – we can’t wait to see how they react. We’re grateful to both Tesco and Ocado for providing us with wider nationwide availability.

“We’re committed to providing the easiest ways for people make the switch from dairy to oat, whilst protecting the planet in the process. What better way to do this than a delicious tub of oat- based ice cream?”
