One iota launches new interactive signage suite and aims to change the face of in-store digital retailing


Leading multi-channel retail technology specialist One iota has announced the launch of In-store Retail Interactive Screens (IRIS) – a new interactive digital signage suite that will help UK retailers keep pace with the ever changing demands of in-store retail experiences.

IRIS is a cloud-based proposition which will revolutionise the way that retailers are able to launch, manage and customise in-store campaigns for shoppers across their store-wide estate instantly.

As today’s tech savvy shoppers become even more digitally driven, retailers have been forced to look to connected technology to bring new online and digital shopping experiences into bricks and mortar stores. Many have started to replace traditional point of sale materials with digital devices to create stores which engage shoppers in new ways.  The main challenge to date has been trying to control and manage such campaigns quickly and effectively across desired stores, as up until now many of these processes have been manual.

The cloud-based IRIS suite will give retailers full control of the digital signage across all of their stores, enabling them to deliver instant campaigns in-store within specific regions, individual stores or across the whole store estate – all easily controlled from Head Office using simple web-based tools. Activity can be scheduled several months ahead and existing campaigns can be overridden and replaced with spontaneous activity.
