One Stop Franchise has been announced as a finalist in the 2015 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards, less than 15 months since it began its official roll-out.
Supported by Express Newspapers, the Awards are the highest honours available within the franchise sector and recognise the UK’s most exceptional franchisors in a range of categories for their business growth and development, service excellence and commitment to ethical franchising practice. As a fledgling business, One Stop Franchise has gained finalist status within the Emerging Franchisor of the Year category, which is open to franchisors that have been operating for less than five years.
Andrew King, One Stop Franchise director, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to reach the final of these prestigious awards and it’s testament to the hard work of our team and our franchisees in delivering such a successful proposition. As we approach another milestone in our franchisee sign-ups, it’s fantastic to get such an endorsement on our progress to date from the bfa and their awards partners. We look forward to presenting the One Stop Franchise story to judges in due course and wish all finalists the best of luck.”
Andy Brattesani, UK head of franchising for HSBC, said: “Thanks to the calibre of entries, we’ve arrived at a list of businesses that really highlight the diversity found in modern franchising. The finalists, a strong combination of established and newer franchisors, should be very proud to have been shortlisted for their dedication to exceptional business practices. We look forward to hearing more about their success at the judging.”
Sean Hammond from Express Newspapers said: “These franchisors have demonstrated excellence in business as well as in franchising and their stories should serve as an inspiration. The number of different business sectors represented showcases the opportunities in the sector for expanding businesses and for those looking into self-employment.”
Finalists will present to a judging panel of industry experts in London on 20 and 21 May, with winners announced at a black-tie dinner on 25 June at the ICC, Birmingham.
