Patchwork Pâté launches new, responsive website


Patchwork Pâté, the British producer of handmade foods from the Welsh countryside, has launched its new, responsive website.

With a completely redesigned user interface, supports business-to-business communication and ordering. The site connects Patchwork Pâté’s accountancy and stock recording functions, streamlining purchasing for retailers.

Anyone buying through the site Patchwork can access an online record of their order history and recreate their orders as required.

For consumers, the new site builds on Patchwork Pâté’s themes of fun and exuberance, while remaining informative about the company’s products.

Jenny Whitham, director at Patchwork Pâté, said: “Our new website is an all-encompassing platform for our suppliers and customers. We were keen to make it easier for retailers to access and stock Patchwork Pâté products. We also wanted to keep it fun and interactive for consumers. We’re delighted with the result and confident will be an indispensable resource for pâté lovers everywhere.”

Patchwork Pâté was founded in 1982 by Margaret Carter. A family business, the company began with a start-up fund of £9, invested from then single mother Carter’s housekeeping funds. Today the company occupies purpose built kitchens in nearby Ruthin where it employs 20 people.

Patchwork’s product range includes pâtés, chutneys, hummus and soups as well as sweet products such as ice creams and chocolate terrines. The company also offers hampers and guerrilla picnic packs for social occasions.
