Pladis, the global snacking company behind some of the UK’s most loved and iconic brands, has announced its 2020 savoury seasonal ranges for Jacob’s and Carr’s – comprising a variety of festive products which retailers should stock to drive seasonal sales. 

As the number one savoury biscuit brand, Jacob’s is back for Christmas 2020 with its bestselling range of Christmas Caddies, as well as a number of selection boxes jam-packed with its popular crackers which perfectly pair with cheese, chutneys and everything in between.

“Nothing says Christmas quite like a box of crackers and a cheese board, and this year we’re back with several selection boxes from Jacob’s to satisfy key seasonal trends such as indulgence and togetherness,” says Jonathan Bull, head of commercial & seasonal brands at pladis UK&I. “Furthermore, we’re bringing back our selection of Jacob’s Caddies for another year – these are ideal for gatherings, relaxed evenings or as a pre-dinner nibble.

Meanwhile, pladis’ savoury biscuit range also encompasses its premium £10 million Carr’s brand, which will help retailers to drive sales amongst shoppers looking for an extra special festive selection this year.

his year, Jacob’s will refashion its bestselling Christmas Caddies with a festive makeover. The 2020 line-up includes Caddies from Mini Cheddars (worth £68.4 million) and Twiglets (worth £11.3 million), as well as Cracker Crisps Sour Cream & Chives and Cheeselets – which has been temporarily renamed Treeselets as a nod to the snack’s festive new shape.

In sponsorship of Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day 2020, each of the four products will be dressed up in Christmas jumper-style packaging to match the festive knits that will be sweeping the nation on Friday 11th December.  Jacob’s will also be donating to Save the Children to help the most vulnerable children in the UK and around the world – an incentive that is sure to get shoppers stocking up and spreading Christmas cheer.
