Predictive analytics business, Blue Yonder, revealed how big data can be evaluated so food retailers can avoid both out-of-stock situations and write-offs at the recent SAP Startup Forum.
Blue Yonder was among 35 start up companies presenting big data projects that can be implemented with SAP’s in-memory computing platform, HANA.
Jan Karstens, development chief, Blue Yonder, showcased the company’s automatic merchandise planning in the food industry.
Following its involvement in the Startup Forum, Blue Yonder is now participating in the SAP Startup Focus programme.
Blue Yonder CEO, Uwe Weiss, said: “We look forward to being able to develop applications also in support of the SAP solutions. As part of the SAP Startup Focus programme, we will also have the opportunity to increase our visibility internationally.”
Through the SAP Startup Focus programme, SAP will support Blue Yonder in leveraging the power of SAP HANA.
