Queensgate, Peterborough, welcomes H&M and Hotel Chocolat

Lendlease and Invesco Real Estate is pleased to announce that H&M, the international fashion brand is to open a 35,000sq ft regional flagship as the brand upsizes at Queensgate, Peterborough, one of the leading shopping destinations in the East Midlands.

The new store, situated on the West Mall, opposite to John Lewis on the upper level, is relocating and upsizing following strong performance from its existing Queensgate store. The new H&M will open on 28 July 2016.

H&M’s upsize incorporate an additional 3,000sq ft of space, an increase of 10% compared to the current store.  he larger area will showcase H&M’s full product range, including the company’s latest clothing trends for men, women, teenagers and children. The store will also feature H&M’s latest collaborations with leading artists, such as M.I.A that launched in April.

The news follows the announcement that Hotel Chocolat, the British chocolatier and cocoa grower with over 80 shops in the UK, is to open a 1,400sq ft store in Queensgate. Due to open in August 2016, Hotel Chocolat is located on Queensgate’s East Mall, opposite Pandora and The Perfume Shop.

Since Invesco bought Queensgate and Lendlease took over the asset management 18 months ago, 15 new brands totalling over 55,000 sq ft of space have been added to Queensgate. In addition, Westgate Arcade has been refurbished and significant investment has been made in improving Queensgate’s car parks.
