Award winning outdoor clothing and accessories brand, Regatta returned to this year’s Kendal Calling festival, giving festival-goers another exciting, and completely free, experience.
The lively Regatta stage fully embraced this year’s ‘carnival of colour’ theme as they introduced Tag Me In, a new addition to their line-up, where revellers could pick up a free t-shirt and get their hands mucky as they coloured their tee using as many different spray paints as they dared!
The activity saw hoards of people flock to the stage to get their hands on their own graffiti tee over the course of the festival, having completely sold out by the Saturday afternoon.
Anyone who tagged themselves at Kendal Calling with their graffiti tee on the Regatta Facebook page was automatically entered to win £500 of kit each day of the festival.
The outdoor clothing brand also housed a fully-fledged shop at the festival for any last minute purchases, which stocked everything from essential waterproofs to tents, chairs and torches.
This year’s Kendal Calling took place from Thursday 28th July to Sunday 31 July in Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District. Headline acts included Rudimental, Madness, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Charlatans and Jason Manford.
Jo Hawkins, marketing director at Regatta, said: “The Tag Me In activity was a huge success and it was a joy to see so many young faces getting involved and fully embracing the festival spirit – even queuing very patiently to get their hands on the Regatta graffiti t-shirts!
“We were really excited to be back at Kendal Calling festival this year as it represents such a wide mix of customers, from young families to millennials who want to look stylish yet stay dry in the, more often than not, wet and muddy fields of a festival.”
