PG Tips and Russell Hobbs join forces on tea campaign

One of the UK’s most recognisable and leading household brands, Russell Hobbs has joined forces with the nation’s favourite tea brand PG tips, on a campaign to spread positivity across the UK.

As a nation of tea lovers, Russell Hobbs, inventors of the first automatic shut off kettle, and PG tips, makers of fine tasting tea since 1930, know the importance of a proper cuppa and, after the year that Brits have had, the brands are coming together to spread a little ‘positivi-tea’.

The campaign will see the brands engage in a number of acts of kindness including donating products to local community centres, food banks and homeless and domestics violence charities to support those in need and help people get back on their feet after a tough year. It will also see Russell Hobbs search for the UK’s most deserving community hero, asking people to nominate someone who has been the heart of their community during the pandemic and provide one special person the ultimate ‘Heart of the community gift bundle’ including over £500 worth of Russell Hobbs products for championing that community spirit.

The giving doesn’t stop there as the pair will also be gifting ‘Positivi-tea Packs’ to people across the UK, searching for those who need a little pick me up. The packs are filled with goodies, such as coffee, biscuits, journals, stationary and self-care products, as well as a Russell Hobbs kettle and toaster and PG tips tea, that will encourage the recipient to take a little ‘me time’ and wind down with a brew whilst enjoying the treats inside.
