Perkins: Rutter's marketing role

Rutter’s Farm Stores, the Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain, has promoted Robert Perkins to vice president, marketing.

Perkins, who joined Rutter’s in 2007, had been director of marketing. He has nearly 30 years’ experience in the convenience retail industry in the areas of marketing, sales, business development and operations.

Perkins earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Virginia Tech and is a graduate of the Strategic Business Model programme at Harvard Business School and of leadership and strategic marketing programs at Babson College.

Family-owned, York County-based Rutter’s Farm Stores (rutters.com) operates 56 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Lancaster counties.
