Samsung Electronics UK has appointed Laura Dance digital campaign manager as part of the company’s strategy to build online consumer engagement.
Dance will be working across the business, responsible for the planning and development of digital campaigns and key brand partnerships.
Dance joins the business from the Central Office of Information (COI), the UK government’s agency for marketing communications and, until recently, the biggest digital advertiser in the UK.
Gabby Hegerty, head of digital, Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland, said: “Laura’s strong background in digital marketing makes her an excellent addition to the corporate marketing team. Online is a major platform for Samsung to exploit and we’re set to continue our investment in digital in 2010 and into 2011 with projects including the sponsorship of Take That’s Progress Live Tour next Summer. This appointment highlights our continued commitment to developing our presence and engagement with consumers in the digital space.”
