Sharpham Park, the Somerset-based organic spelt farm, has unveiled a new brand design to reflect the growing national appeal and increased demand for British-grown healthy foods.
The new design concept has been rolled out to cement the brand’s premium position and continue to give it national appeal whilst also reflecting Sharpham Park’s heritage and showcasing product that is grown and produced in Somerset.
The rebrand features a bold and modern design while retaining a strong element of provenance through the Union Jack and silhouette of Somerset’s Glastonbury Tor. Other details that add to the sense of place include Sharpham’s walnut trees and deers, as well as the spelt fields themselves and even Roger in his jeep.
The new design is being rolled out across Sharpham’s flour portfolio, including the new Heritage Flour product made using a combination of spelt, emmer and einkorn, and is also set to feature on other Sharpham Park products in the future.
A proudly British brand
The new design reflects Sharpham Park’s national appeal while also reflecting that this remains a proudly British brand. Sharpham Park’s organic spelt is British grown and milled in Somerset to ensure customers receive the best tasting and healthiest spelt in the UK.
A premium quality product
Sharpham Park is passionate about only using ingredients that are locally farmed and free from pesticides. The new design gives the brand a greater national appeal, reflecting spelt’s growing appeal due to it being an excellent source of dietary fibre and contains protein, vitamins and minerals.
The redesign comes as Sharpham Park continues to enjoy a hugely successful year – online sales have increased tenfold since early 2020 and July sales were up 40% compared to the same period last year.
Founder Roger Saul said: “With our sales continuing to rise, now is the perfect time to unveil a bold new redesign that represents our growing national appeal while also making it very clear that we’re a proudly British brand located in beautiful Somerset surroundings. The new brand encapsulates our desire to make Sharpham Park a household name while adhering to our commitment to produce only the finest British spelt products.”
Sharpham Park’s products, which include spelt pasta, pearls and cereal, can also be purchased online at www.sharphampark.com or via stockists including Waitrose, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Abel & Cole, Planet Organic and Farmdrop.
