Soho Street Cocktails’ new flavour launch: The Piña Colada

Soho Street Cocktails claims to be revolutionising the ready-to-drink cocktail market and after a successful brand launch earlier this year, a new cocktail flavour is in town: Piña Colada.

The iconic Piña Colada originated in San Juan in Puerto Rico, as early as the 1800s according to some sources who credit the cocktail to Puerto Rican pirate Roberto Cofresí, saying that he served his crew this beverage to boost morale. However, the true origin of this cocktail remains a mystery with several bartenders claiming to have first created it.

The Soho Street Cocktail version of this popular drink is made using premium coconut milk, NFC (not from concentrate) pineapple juice and Caribbean rum. The Piña Colada, as well as all their other flavours, contains no allergens, artificial colours or flavourings and is vegan and gluten free.

“We are incredibly excited for the launch of the Piña Colada. When some people have questioned the timing of the launch – my response is simple, when something tastes this good, the time of year simply doesn’t matter. We chose the Piña Colada as our latest cocktail release due to the incredible quality of the ingredients we have sourced. The outcome is a cocktail that is so fresh, it’s like a holiday in a glass! That seems like a perfect winter drink to me.”

To create the perfect serve, pour 150ml into a cocktail shaker with 2-3 cubes of ice. Shake vigorously for 7 seconds and serve into a highball glass with ice. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple and a pineapple leaf. Of course, the umbrella is optional…

Each of their small-batch, craft cocktails delivers on bar-standard flavour and consistency for a fraction of the effort and price. To enjoy any of their drinks, all you need to do is pour, shake and serve!

All Soho Street Cocktails are available in a 1.5L pouch and are between 9.5 – 12% ABV and can be purchased via Comesto at £20.79 RRP.
