Spar has opened its tenth hypermarket in India. The new store is the retailer’s first in in Gurgaon, a city south-west of Delhi.
The 6,600sq m hypermarket offers a wide variety of products and has 39 checkout points, which Spar claims contribute to an excellent customer shopping experience.
The store is located on the lower ground floor of the MGF Metropolis Mall, Gurgaon. Spar already operates stores in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Pune, Coimbatore and Delhi.
Spar claims it delivers international shopping standards at Indian prices.
The international store design and layouts merchandises categories in ‘worlds’, for example, children, living, kitchen, apparel, gifting, electronics, fresh produce (including fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, delicatessen and an in-store bakery), speciality food concepts, staples, health and beauty, FMCG food, and wine and beer.
The hypermarket offers a range of over 30,000 products, catering to the needs of quality and value-conscious customers. The Spar ‘Every Day Low Price’ policy and ‘Best Deal’ promotions guarantee value, which customers will enjoy, the retailer claims. New to the hypermarket is a private label clothing range.
