Spar is relaunching its own brand paperware range, with a host of improvements including quality and value for money.

The complete range of toilet tissue, kitchen towel and facial tissues has been improved, in particular the upgrades from two to three ply to Spar’s toilet tissue and family facial tissues.

Plus, the introduction of a £1.75 pricemark on Spar’s luxury soft four-pack toilet tissue will match competitor prices.

Two new facial tissue products will be added to the range both with a modern pack format offering convenience to customers.

Spar cube and Spar twin pack pocket tissues will be available in shelf ready packaging to aid retailers in merchandising options.

Susan Darbyshire, Spar UK brand director, said: “The paperware category is very important in building shopper’s confidence of own label within the convenience market.

“Following a full review, we have made significant improvements to the quality while at the same time offering shopper’s great value for money. Spar’s own label paperware range is worth up to £5m in retail sales.”

The new range phases in to Spar stores during January 2016.
