Spar UK recruits two managers to brand team for grocery and off-licence

Spar UK has recruited two managers to its brand team, based in the company’s central office in Harrow, Middlesex.

According to the retailer, the move demonstrates its commitment to growing and investing in its successful range of high quality, own label products.

Lindsey Gordon is taking up the role of brand manager for grocery and off licence.

Gordon joins Spar from Blockbuster where she was impulse food buyer. She previously held various trading roles at Woolworths and Safeway. 

Kirstie Kim joins Spar as assistant brand manager working on grocery and off licence. 

Kim has a degree in Law from Surrey University and has spent the last two years working for John Mills(JML) responsible for developing and launching a range of home and lifestyle products

Susan Darbyshire, Spar UK brand director, said: “I am really excited about the new additions to the brand team here at Spar, kicking off what is set to be a great year for our own label range.
