Spar UK is launching a range of new and redesigned chilled products, giving customers everything they need for a warming family dinner this winter season.
These 23 hearty favourites consist of ready to cook main dishes as well as a range of vegetable side dishes, to help shoppers create a no-fuss complete meal in a hurry.
The range includes two new prepared chicken lines: Chicken Wrapped in Bacon, and Hunter’s Chicken, both price-marked at £3.50, offering great quality and value to customers. Both of these lines were specially developed for Spar brand.
The Winter Warmers packaging has also been redesigned, and now has a bright and modern look with a striking block colour design to help it fit alongside the successful Spar brand Italian range.
The range is worth an estimated £2.5m per annum to Spar.
Spar UK brand director, Susan Darbyshire, said: “We know customers who buy their evening meals spend twice as much in Spar stores, so these new launches offer retailers a great opportunity to boost sales this winter.”
Spar Winter Warmers will be supported by a variety of marketing activity, said Darbyshire.
“Ongoing two for one promotions and price-marking is used across much of the range and some classic dishes will feature in SPAR’s national media campaign in November, helping increase consumer awareness and demand,” she said.
The range will also be supported by in store POS helping to direct customers to the fixture.
The Spar brand Winter Warmers range will be available to retailers from 10 October 2013.
